Leslie’s bridal portraits
May 19, 2009 | Category: Bridal
Leslie is simply incredible. We had the pleasure of doing one previous shoot with her when we photographed her engagement portraits, which you can see here. That turned out so well that we put a six foot tall print of one of her photos in our window! Leslie, I’m seriously running out of space in my studio because you are such a great model!
Not a bad thing, though!
I sincerely had no idea how incredible her bridal shoot would turn out. There’s something magical about photographing Leslie, and the best part is that it’s all natural. She told me that she wanted a lot of Hollywood glamour in her portraits, a.k.a. Marilyn Monroe-esque, and boy did she bring it!
I studied up a little on George Hurrell to get the correct lighting. We began photographing Leslie in a local field with a Mustang convertible (thanks to Brandon Winstead!) and then we went to a local coffeehouse in Hickory. The whole evening was a lot of fun…this was definitely my favorite and strongest shoot to date. Great job Leslie!!!!
