Repeat clients are always fun and always make my day.  When Anna called me asking for a spot with Spring Fever mini-sessions, I was thrilled!  I adore the Fredell family and always have a great time with them.  You may remember Anna, Billy, and Emma from their Christmas 2010 family session, seen here.

Emma–I adore this kid.  She has got to be one of the sweetest, funniest, and innocent young ladies I’ve ever met.  Every time I get to photograph her, I have such a fun time.  Her, and her mom and dad, are so much fun, and way too sweet.

The thing I love the most about Emma is how easy it is to make her laugh.  It’s infectious.  Once she starts, she doesn’t stop.  Her smile is so cute, and it just warms your soul, deep down.

I swear little Evie Belle could be Cindy Lou Who’s twin from the movie “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.” As cute as can be, we all were charmed by her cute curly red hair and adorable Christmas dress and tights. Her mom Autumn, really has some style! I loved her outfit, and I had a lot of fun with her family. Check out some adorable photos of Ms. Evie Belle, and stay tuned for more mini-session goodness!

Seize the Photo Photography would like to invite all of the Catawba Valley region to a huge event we’re having at the studio. We’ll be open on Nov. 21 from 10AM-8PM for our annual Christmas card mini-sessions. A session fee of $75 will include a 15 minute session (2-3 poses), plus 25 custom Christmas cards (you choose!). We will have several designs for you to choose from to help spread the Christmas cheer! Plus, everyone who books an appointment (non-walk-ins) will receive a free onsite gift!

Here’s the twist: we’re offering two setups–outdoor (you can bring your pet!) AND an indoor set that will re-create the living room scene from “A Christmas Story.” We’re really excited! Even for those families who want a traditional card, we’ll be able to maneuver the set so that we create a traditional backdrop. We have something for everyone! We have an idea for three scenarios:

a) Traditional Christmas: living room setup with fireplace, tree, and couch
b) A little bit more Story: same setup as above, with stocking caps, a “Flick hat” (aviator hat), scarves, etc. for everyone to dress up like the characters in the movie
c) Total “Christmas Story”: everything mentioned above plus the favorites from the movie–a “FRAGILE box,” pink bunny suit, Red Ryder BB gun, AND the leg lamp. The props can all be used according to your own tastes.
