I want to start something new! How cool is it that I have a blog at my fingertips that many people check frequently? I think that is such an honor that we have so many followers on Facebook, Twitter, and here. Thanks to all of you!
With that said, why let a blog go to waste? I know, I needed to do this a long time ago! Check back each week on Monday or Tuesday for a few “photos of the week.” I’m going to start out posting some photos that mean a lot to me, and then branch out to odd/weird/funny photos. You never know what you’ll see each week!
This week, I want to start with someone VERY special to me. A few weeks back, I posted about my Pappaw Price, and how much it hurt that we had lost such a wonderful person in our family. I still miss him terribly, but we should never dwell on the past! Instead of doing that, I would love to honor him and his memory through what God has blessed with best–pictures. I not only have an incredibly sweet picture of him before he passed, but I also have pictures of him from WWII! My Pappaw was quite a handsome guy back then (and still is!), and my Mammaw Price was quite a “looker” too! I thought this would be a great way to honor both of them, and celebrate the fact that I still have my sweet and wondeful Mammaw around. What a blessing! Enjoy, but remember to always tell everyone that you love them…just like with my Pappaw, things happen suddenly; you never know when your last time saying “I love you” will be. Never be afraid to tell someone something from your heart!
