There’s that one person you love…the one person that has a great influence in your life, who you love with all your heart. That’s my “Pappaw.” I’ve never met someone who has influenced more people, or loved people so deeply and so unconditionally. He has so much integrity and his word still means what he says. He’s truly an amazing man who I love very dearly.
I’m very sad to say that my Pappaw isn’t doing very well right now. I’m blogging right now at MUSC in Charleston, where he’s in the hospital for an abdominal aortic aneurysm. As much as it hurts be in this situation, I’m hanging on to God right now, and I’m trusting that He has my Pappaw and my family in His loving arms right now. He’s my constant and my rock and the reason I live, and He’s the reason that I have the photo business right now. He’s my life.
I don’t know when we’ll be back or what will transpire. I wanted to blog to let everyone know what is going on so that you will know there may be a slight delay in any existing orders. We will work as diligently as possible to get them out as quickly as possible.
The one thing I’m sure of is that this is in the hands of my Creator, who loves me, loves my Pappaw, and has everything under control. I praise Him for the life that He has given me with my Pappaw, and the incredible man that I’ve had the pleasure of knowing for nearly three decades of my life. I don’t think I’ll ever meet someone as impacting or incredible in my life…I can only hope that each of you reading this right now knows someone, or has someone, that means this much to you. He’s my world, and I will sincerely miss him. I wish that all of you have someone, or have experienced someone, as special as he is to me. Thank you to God for blessing me with such a great man in my life.
