I had the privilege of photographing a beautiful wedding for a great couple, Jamie and Jeremy, in Denver NC. The day started out great because I never saw Jamie without a huge smile on her face. As the day progressed, I had even more fun with the groom and “his guys,” a very down-to-earth, laid back crew. I always enjoy hanging out with everyone! It was such a fun day!
Jamie’s family hails from West Virginia, and I think Jeremy is from there as well. I do know this about the groom though: he’s the undisputed biggest WVU fan alive. If you want to challenge that, contact Jeremy! I think the thing I loved the most about this wedding is that I was somewhat of an “adopted guest.” I always love weddings that go beyond just telling a story with your portraits; at this wedding, I felt like I was part of the festivities, being welcomed so warmly by the family, getting to know and hanging out with them. They truly embody the meaning of “southern hospitality.”
